SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST - HOME CARE PER DIEM
Job Summary: Evaluates and treats patients in the home in need of speech, language, cognitive, communication, voice disorders and dysphagia rehabilitation services based on agency policies and procedures. Establishes and implements treatment programs in accordance with physician orders. Communicates and coordinates care with other members of the interdisciplinary team. Reports to Supervisor of Therapy Services.
Minimum Requirements: Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited/approved school as recognized by the ASHA.
Minimum of 1 year experience as a Speech/Language Pathologist in an acute care or rehab setting required.
Must be flexible to travel to patient care.
Basic computer skills required.
Ability to perform duties with accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed to meet patient care needs.
Preferred Qualifications: Home Health experience preferred.
Licensure and Certifications: Current PA licensure Speech Language Pathology. Must have a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation and current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification.
